Job Description Job Description Overview We are partnering with a well-established commercial and industrial construction firm to identify an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to support continued growth across Missouri, Kansas, and Iowa. This role is ideal for a construction professional who thrives in design-build environments, understands metal building systems and steel construction, and is comfortable owning projects from pre-construction through closeout. The firm has been operating for decades, is known for quality and reliability, and places strong value on project ownership, accountability, and long-term cultural fit. The Role: The Project Manager / Estimator will oversee commercial and industrial construction projects with a strong emphasis on pre-engineered metal buildings, steel erection, and design-build delivery. This individual will play a key role in estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating all project stakeholders to ensure successful execution. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from pre-construction through closeout Lead or support estimating efforts, including budgeting and cost controls Develop and maintain project schedules Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards Ideal Candidate Background Proven experience in commercial and industrial construction project management Strong exposure to one or more of the following: Pre-engineered metal buildings Steel structures and steel erection Design-build project delivery Solid understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and cost control Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing field execution Strong communication and client-facing skills Engineering background or exposure to PE-led environments is a plus, but not required Salary: Competitive Package, dependent on experience.
