registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience

be considered. Provide skilled nursing care in a Progressive Care
Unit (PCU) setting on 12-hour night shifts, delivering high-quality
patient support in a fast-paced environment. This contract position
offers the opportunity to apply specialized experience in step-down
care, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to manage
patients transitioning from intensive care to lower levels of
monitoring. Location:This role is based in the Lees Summit area,
known for its family-friendly atmosphere, excellent schools, and
proximity to a variety of dining and recreational options. Enjoy

shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM Every other weekend required Major
holiday shifts are occasional with managerial scheduling
flexibility Responsibilities: Provide compassionate, skilled
nursing care for PCU patients, including monitoring vital signs and
administering medications Manage high-acuity patients with
experience in arterial lines, drips, BiPAP, and Airvo devices
preferred Collaborate with medical staff to adjust patient care
plans as needed Float as required to lower acuity units Adhere to
facility protocols in a nicotine-free environment Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Minimum of 1 year
PCU nursing experience Certifications in ACLS and BLS required;
NIHSS certification preferred High acuity clinical expertise such
as arterial line care and respiratory support devices highly
desirable Ability to work nights and manage complex patient needs
efficiently This contract opportunity provides a supportive
orientation schedule to facilitate seamless integration, with
orientation sessions conducted Monday through Friday daytime hours.
