-Product Development Intern - - -Full-time - - Materials - Location - Olathe, KS, 66022Works closely within our Materials and designated departments to learn and contribute to the team's business objectives. You'll perform project related tasks designed to meet business needs, learn about the functions and responsibilities for these departments with the objective of completing tasks and projects that serve the department's business needs as well as giving the opportunity to grow within this field. -YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESYou'll deliver short and long term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:Support departmental business activities from research and analysis to process improvement and project and task executionLearn and begin to execute departmental functions, projects, tasks, intra-company and customer communication requirementsWork with departmental leaders and team members to learn the objectives and responsibilities of departments where assignedPerform a variety of tasks and projects designed to develop business based skills and experienceLeverages analytical and critical thinking skills to complete assigned tasks and responsibilitiesParticipate in online and in class training to ensure continuous skill developmentLearn and implement business legal requirements - -Participate in departmental activities -HOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILEWe're looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems.
