creative. Job Summary: The primary role of the Small Engine
Mechanic is to process all work orders for customer repairs, as
well as servicing/repairing their equipment. The range of equipment
includes Stihl power equipment, primarily 2-cycle handheld units.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability and knowledge
required for this position, including having a minimum of three
years of related professional experience. The candidate shall also
possess good customer communication skills. Stihl certification is
preferred but will train as necessary. Responsibilities: Must have
knowledge of 2-cycle small engines. Basic computer skills to access
information online. Provide high-quality repair services on all
work orders. Ensure the safe use of equipment & tools. Responsible
for completing all warranty paperwork in a timely manner.
Responsible for communicating special order parts for all work
orders. Responsible for completing service work in a timely manner.
Provide a safe environment by keeping work areas clean & organized.
Possess strong communication skills as customer interaction may be
frequent. May be required to cross-train and perform other duties.
Ability to participate in the equipment sales process is highly
desired . Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, high
attention to detail, and ability to multitask Ability to stand for
an extended period of time Able to walk, reach, climb ladders, and
bend to perform job duties Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
