Job Description:
Job Description Saint Luke's is looking to add to the Clinical
Informatics team! Candidate will need to be located near the Kansas
City area as in person duties are required. An active MO nursing
license is required. This position is a part time, 24 hours per
week position working with the Clinical Informatics team. This
position will likely be 3 days per week, with rare weekend work
required. Typical work hours will be 8am-5pm. This position
requires a bachelors degree, and 3-5 years of experience in
Clinical Informatics. Experience with EPIC EMR is highly preferred.
The Clinical Informatics Specialist integrates nursing science,
computer science and information science to manage and process
clinical data, information and knowledge to facilitate the delivery
of health care. The Clinical Informatics Specialist role will be
primarily focused on clinical informatics projects and Epic
optimizations, following a consistent methodology of workflow
analysis and validation while ensuring nursing practice standards,
regulations, privacy and policy are considered. This role will
serve as a liaison for clinical staff across various patient care
departments while working collaboratively with department managers
and technical experts. *Masters Degree in Nursing, or Informatics,
Preferred. *Informatics Nursing Certification from ANCC Preferred.
